Acts of the Apostles
The Acts of the Apostles is presented here as a companion volume to The Testament of Jesus, a harmony of the four Gospel accounts. Where The Testament of Jesus brings together the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus into a single unified narrative, Acts continues the story; detailing the rise of the early Church, the spread of the Gospel, and the empowerment of Jesus’ followers through the Holy Spirit.
Where the Gospel of Luke ends with the ascension of Jesus, Acts begins with it; and from there, traces the fulfillment of Jesus’ commission to his disciples.
